One counter, fifteen towns
VT Strong is a single store at 69 South Main Street in Barre. VT 14 and US 302 both run through downtown, which is why most of Washington County reaches us on one road. South Barre is four minutes away. Waterbury is the far end, 27 minutes down I-89.
Every town page has the distance, the drive time and the actual turns, measured from the middle of that town to our door. The times are off-peak. Add a few minutes when the Barre–Montpelier Road backs up at five.
How the counter works
We sell flower the way a deli sells cheese. It sits in jars behind the glass, you ask to see a few, and you smell them before anything goes on the scale. You buy the weight you asked for, not whatever size someone pre-packed last week.
We’re a husband-and-wife shop, and we’ve been around this plant since the days of finger scales. Since legalization we’ve also run our own trim crew. It works harvests at farms around the state, and that’s how we met most of the small Vermont growers whose flower is in the jars now.

8 AM to 8 PM, seven days a week.
Do I need an ID?
Yes. Bring a valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID that shows you are 21 or older. A driver's license, state ID or passport all work, out-of-state ones included.
How much can I buy at once?
Since July 1, 2026, Vermont lets a retailer sell an adult up to two ounces of flower in one visit, or the equivalent in other products. Mix flower, vapes and edibles and the budtender does the math for you.
Do you deliver?
No. Order on the online menu for express pickup and your bag will be ready at the counter.
